  • Amazingly Stylish Duplex Penthouse

Dramatically reconfigured penthouse, creating a spectacular open-plan living space.

apartment located in Barcelona Poblenou Urban District
The Project consists of the comprehensive reform of a duplex penthouse in a new building next to the Parc Central del Poblenou by Jean Nouvel.

With different terraces on both levels and magnificent views over the city and the park, the property was the ideal accommodation for its owners, a young family of creatives from the world of music and fashion. The house had to be a gathering space to disconnect from work and travel.
The action proposes to separate the functions by floors, locating the kitchen, dining room, living room and guest room spaces on the ground floor access. The family bedrooms are organized on the upper floor around the larger terraces.
The living room, connected to a small terrace, is a soberly decorated environment whose rear wall is finished in a gray microcement very similar to that of the flooring. Aligned with this gray wall, a metal staircase made of iron plate and turnbuckles leads to the upper floor.

Smart Home Control Panels

All-in-one smart home touchscreen controller that installs in place of a light switch panel.

Linear diffuser

Air Conditioning System Design
Linear diffuser with vertical supply and a single slot with curtain effect made with extruded aluminum profiles. It has integrated flow regulation by means of 2 adjustable blades made of galvanized sheet metal. The lower part of the diffuser is designed to be fully integrated, minimizing the visual impact.
Functionally, the core forms the kitchen columns, which is complemented by an open work space in anthracite lacquer, and an island in the same material with an oak dining table.

Extractor hood smart control

Exclusive Gutmann extractor hood smart control discreetly integrated in the kitchen island

Fully integrated fridge-freezer

With the continuation of the wooden wall paneling across the built-in refrigerator, we create an elegant, unified look.

Exclusive Gutmann

Exclusive Gutmann cooker hood with external motor for absolutely silent operation. Discreet integration into the built-in furniture.
At the upper floor a small distributor gives access to the suite bedroom, a children's bedroom and a bathroom. To increase the feeling of warmth, the wooden flooring replaces the microcement throughout the floor. In the bedroom suite, an anthracite lacquered perimeter piece of furniture forms the wardrobes, incorporating the access door to one of the terraces and hiding structural elements of the property.
A second wooden core hides the bathroom and forms a niche that acts as a headboard for the bed.
