Home refurbishment near Plaza Urquinaona

Complete refurbishment of an Ensanche district noble home, which has lost its original distribution over time. The project proposes the restauration of the apartment to the essence of its former state by restoring the classic symmetry with central doors and axis, while incorporating different changes to accommodate a new functional program.

The design concept is based on the juxtaposition of original elements, completely restored, with stream-lined volumes and contemporary materials. Thus, the white walls and false ceilings decorated with gold mouldings, the white lacquered interior doors, the classic windows and the wood parquet and natural stone floors come together in harmony with modern pieces such as the mirror covered partition, the gold aluminum kitchen and the suite´s charcoal tinted wood wall unit.
