Tobias Laarmann studied architecture at the TU Dortmund and the Berlin University of the Arts, where he graduated in 2000.
He began his career at Studio MBA, the partner office of Foster and Partners in Berlin, while also teaching at the Berlin University of the Arts.
In 2003 his career took him to Barcelona, where he founded his own studio together with Yolanda Yuste, offering architecture and interior design services for residential, commercial, hospitality, and corporate projects.
Tobias Laarmann provided additional architectural services for various architectural offices such as SaAS Sabaté Associats, Alfredo Arribas Arquitectos Association, P/E/P Architects + Urban Planners, Nalbach+Nalbach Society of Architects, as well as Baas Arquitectura, Guallart Architects and other.
In addition to working as an Architect and Interior Designer, Tobias Laarmann is a specialist in Photogrammetry Art and 3D Interactive Environments with over two decades of experience and taught these subjects at the IaaC, Catalonian Institute of Architecture. As a pastime he runs a small carpentry shop for handcrafted solid wood furniture.
